what is a fanlisting?

a fanlisting is simply a listing of fans. here you can find other people who share a common interest with you

bleached blond?

this fanlisting is for Uchiyama Haruhiko of the DRAMA version (not anime/manga) of Gokusen. the fanlisting is named after Uchi's hair. I was debating between "bleached blond" and "Kinpatsu no niichan" (kinpatsu no niichan means "blond boy", which was what the two little girls who played with the puppy Uchi found called him)

Uchi is played by actor Oguri Shun 小栗旬

we don't get to know much about Uchi until episode 3, when he stops coming to class. A purse snatcher is seen around that looks sort of like Uchi, so Yankumi, Sawada, Noda, Kuma, and Minami decided to catch this person to clear Uchi's name. They do catch this person eventually, but in the process Yankumi finds out that Uchi's mother was sick for a month and couldn't pay his tuition. Uchi decided he wanted to quit school and start working so that his mother wouldn't have to worry about supporting him. After this, Yankumi convinces Uchi that his mother wants him to stay in school and he does.

uchi lives only with his mother. the whereabouts of his father was not revealed in the drama. his mother works at a diner (and later a video dating service) to support him, while Uchi goes to school. he cares for his mother very much, and eventhough she is shown to worry greatly about him, she is very light-hearted and playful with him.

when Sawada first came to Shirokin, he, Uchi, and Kurosaki were close friends. the three did practically everything together (or so we are to believe from the episode with Kurosaki). in his senior year, Uchi mainly hangs around with Minami, Kuma, Noda, and Sawada.

Uchi has only had one relationship throughout the whole series. This is with the maid, Wakaba at the hot springs they visit in the Gokusen Special. he seems to really like her, and she him. even after they leave the hot springs, Wakaba and he kept in touch.

throughout the series, Uchi's had a couple of different hairstyles, but it has always been bleached with his roots showing. this changes in the Gokusen Special, where he has let his natural hair colour grow out (T_T noooo~)
